No more doubts about FCA making too many Wranglers.

Great deals for anyone wanting a '19 JL. Thanks for the heads up.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Awesome for someone wanting a wrangler. Horrible for trade in values.
Just drive it til the wheels fall off, that's my plan anyhow, screw trade in values :)

Hopefully it averages out. Get less back but paid less.

With how well wranglers have historically held their value, I've always traded in yearly and started fresh. Doesn't seem to be an option anymore.

Time will tell. Illinois tax won't help buyers anymore either. I may check into registering it at second home in Wisconsin from now on. Split my time anyways.

I don't like the direction taxes are going in IL. I can't see dealers or buyers with trades liking it. Registering at your WI home is not a bad idea.

Just hang on to it and pass it on to a grandchild down the road if there's one (or going to be one) in your family :)
Of course it might look odd w/ all the hovercrafts and drones everywhere lol.

Jeep just announced a $2000 incentive on all 2019 Wranglers! With up to 10% below invoice it's time to get your 2019 Wrangler now.
PM me or email me at [email protected]
I was at the dealership Saturday and was amazed. All 2019 were at least 10k off MSRP and many 12k to 14k off MSRP. This is ~20% off MSRP which I've never seen before being advertised.

For example 2019 JLU Rubi with a nice set of options. $59k MSRP with a $14k discount for $45k asking. Some Sahara's in the 56k range with 12k discount for a 44k ask.

Even JT's are seeing steep discounting, but not quite a good it appeared.

I thought I got a good deal on my 2019 JLU R but evidently could have done better.

No doubt there are unbelievable deals now. Shout out to Criswell for offering them!

You only bought wrong if you bought a one year old model just before the incentives at 2020 prices.

The '19's are over a year old today. The extra incentives are to help move one year old inventory.

Don't know when you bought? I bought when the 2019 was the current model year. I bought my '19 in early '19 and have been driving it for 9 months. I paid 13.7% off msrp back then which is about the same discount on a 2020 today. I have been driving and enjoying it for 9 months. I consumed a years worth of depreciation which is probably more then $2K worth.

Can't make excuses though. FCA simply forecasted POORLY. The demand is not there for all the units they are making. Bottom line is they made too many compared to historic Wrangler sales.
