Hey guys I have a 20 jlu Sahara. I have a rubicon take off suspension off a hard top tow package coming in. And I wanted to add a spaced lift on top of that. Have any of y’all added spacers to your rubicon take off suspensions as if you did what size 1.5” 2.5” and did you have to change anything else. I want to do the 2.5” n add 35s but don’t wanna really change the wheels just yet. Maybe. A 295/70/18 but those are my goals and just want to see what y’all did and did you have to change the driveshaft or not.

I added 3/4" spacers for 2" total lift over stock Sport.
Seems like some have done 1.5" but you might need different shocks. At 2.5" I'm guessing you're going to want to change a bunch of other stuff out.

Recently did the Teraflex 1.5” leveling kit and Rubi springs along with new Fox shocks rated for 2-3” lift. Running 275/70/18 on stock rims for now. Sway bar links were changed for the longer Mopar ones. Previously had Alpine adjustable lower control arms installed which you will need to get your caster number up.

I like that look. 1.5” With rubicon suspension. And the those tires make it fit pretty good. Did you have to change anything or was the other stuff done because you just wanted to do it.

Control arms were changed prior to correct steering issues and lack of adjustability in factory ones. If you lift you will need to adjust caster. I would highly recommend adjustable one versus fixed length that come with some kits like the Mopar lift. I wanted new shocks for a better ride and I was pushing the factory ones with that much lift and not adding extension. I had a local Jeep shop do the work and went off their recommendations on what needed to be changed out. They do tons of lifts on Jeeps and are trusted by the local Jeepers. The Teraflex kit without doing springs requires nothing else according to their install unless you run 35s then bump stop extensions are recommended.

You should get 285/75/18 if you are going to keep stock wheels. With 295 you will get some noticeable suspension rub from your tires.

Below is mine with Duratrac 285/75/18, measured 35.1”x11.2” on stock wheels and 2” lift.

Wow you guys are great. Seems I got my lift and tires figured out. Rubicon take off with 1.5” teraflex spacer and the 285/75/18. Did you add the sandstorm or is that a special edition Jeep. Sorry new to jeeps
