22s. I hate it when a caprice classic rolls up with bigger rims than I've got.....

In all seriousness, 17s unless you can fit 16s... Anything bigger is heavier with less sidewall. Literally no upside. As others have said, it's the angry eyes of wheel choices.

I mean, if you are going to run 22's, you might as well just go to 26's.

Look how amazing this looks.

That is the most stupid looking Jeep I have seen in a long time, maybe ever.

Only you can decide how bad you want it to ride. Don,t let people on this forum decide for you. If you just want it to ride and perform a little bit bad go with 20". You can work your way to any level of crappynest that you like by going up in two" increments. The sky is the limit.

The best at what?
At looking hideous, of course. I can only assume that's what they were going for, because no sensible person would ever build that thinking it would look cool.

I want my Jeep to sit wide and a little chunky like me 🤣

This might help give you an idea of the visual difference between the stock 33" KO2s you have on and some 35" KO2s. A small bit of beef makes a big difference. While different, these rims are both 17".

For me this thing needs a lift and a 2.5" one is going on this Thursday, but to give you a better idea of a "finished" look just getting bigger tires and keeping rims the same size...

I think you might be looking at three different scenarios. The first is that you hate the rims and just want to change. If so my recommendation would be to swap those out for other 17" rims (see offset advice posted previously) and keep the stock KO2s. They're exactly the kind of tire you want.

If the second scenario is that you just want that beefier/chonkier look, the same KO2s in a 315/70R17 will go a long way on your already stock rims.

Finally if you want your wheels to stick out a bit AND look more aggressive, you will want spacers and tires (YMMV, I don't recommend) OR both rims and tires. Rims with a negative offset will push your wheels out. For reference these are a -12mm offset (and a bit more visible in this picture)...

No matter what tires you put on, you'll want to keep a C load rating (the same as your stock tires) to keep your ride the same. Some people will say it doesn't matter, this isn't true in my experience.

Good luck and welcome to the club! And if you REALLY want 20" rims, get em. Just know that they will limit the enjoy-ability of some of the things your awesome ass Rubicon can do!

One more thing to mention...

If you do get entirely new rims and tires, you can probably sell your stock ones for at least a grand, to help offset costs. Mine were gone within 2 days on a craigslist post in the PNW.

Well it's a 392 so you get bonus points for that :)
And running 37s, at least you have a bit of sidewall there.

Comfort & Handing dictate more tire less wheel. You're new to Jeep so wait, your opinion will probably change. Look around most don't do what you're suggesting for solid reasons. However, it's your Jeep so do what makes you happy.

There are a ton of photos so I’m sure you get the picture…. But I’ll post my wife’s Jeep. This wasn’t suppose to be her daily driver but it’s her toy and she drives it more than anything.
