Disclaimer* ive done countless searches and cannot find this info, but hoping to draw out some answers that will also help others wondering the same thing.
Im looking to put a lift kit on my JLU Sport S, but im sticking to 275/70/17 - so 33s.
Naturally for a balanced stance i dont want to go too high and have the 33s look small in the wheels arches and have an unbalanced stance.
My first thought was Teraflex 1.5” Sport ST1 spacer lift kit as the 33s sit really well within that lift.
But, I do wonder if there is a 2" lift kit out there that would still look balanced with 33s.
Here's the thing, from my research most 2" lift kits are often higher than advertised, leading to that unbalanced stance and the 33" looking too small when 35s would be better suited. 35s arent an option for me.
Ive seen the Dynatrac EnduroSport 2" lift increases by 2.5" - as per Trail Recons lift kit comparison
Ive seen some people report on here that the Mopar 2" is as much gain as 4" which is confusing.
So my question is this; who here is running 33"s on a 2" lift that is as advertised?
Has anyone done a comparison on 2" lift kits and their actual height gained? Even if it were on 35s or 37s but atleast it gives you the actual lift comparison.
Is this expectation unfair with manufacurers adding additional heigh with the knowledge it will settle over time?
Thanks in advance.
