Does anyone have any pictures of the trunk space in a JL 2 door? I cant seem to find any in person or even pictures online. Would love to see with and without the rear seats folded. Thanks!

Very similar to the cargo room in a 2 door JK. Not very much at all.Does anyone have any pictures of the trunk space in a JL 2 door? I cant seem to find any in person or even pictures online. Would love to see with and without the rear seats folded. Thanks!
It’s just about big enough to fit the key fob.Does anyone have any pictures of the trunk space in a JL 2 door? I cant seem to find any in person or even pictures online. Would love to see with and without the rear seats folded. Thanks!
If you stand the fob up on it's edge...It’s just about big enough to fit the key fob.
The key is to not get the alpine stereo option that puts a sub woofer in floor. I am pretty sure in addition to being the the middle of where I unload stuff into back, it also fills up the secret under flap cubby.Does anyone have any pictures of the trunk space in a JL 2 door? That's a lame reason for passing on the Alpine in regard to a 2 dr.The key is to not get the alpine stereo option that puts a sub woofer in floor. I am pretty sure in addition to being the the middle of where I unload stuff into back, it also fills up the secret under flap cubby.
I will have back seat out most of the time, as thats the dog hang out zone..
Where are you coming up with $1300 on "a speaker".What's lame is spending $1300 on a speaker. But to each their own.
Exactly! You can’t really fit a lot in that cubby anymore; if you like/care about great sound get the infotainment, if you don’t, then don’t.
But basing that decision on the cubby space seems a bit extreme IMO
gotta read! cubby is an additional thing you lose, the issue is putting the speaker in the middle of the cargo area. That's a lame reason for passing on the Alpine in regard to a 2 dr.
Yes, you lose the little cubby storage area.
You can stack crapola on top of the floor Alpine which is shielded/protected. Sure it will impair the Alpine output while it is covered over but that is only temporary.
YES, back seat out and the back of the JL will hold lots. 4 very large totes and more.
.
Ah I never thought I would see a day where wranglers had 4 doors and guys want a fancy stereo from the factory! lol.You can’t really fit a lot in that cubby anyways; if you like/care about great sound get the infotainment, if you don’t, then don’t.

Nice post and good review. I like the way the back seat flips all the way back - plenty of room back there. The split seats were nice if you needed to load up the back but needed room for a third passenger.

You’re not going to find any in person, they don’t exist yet, maybe mid-May they’ll start showing up on lots.
A bit more to it than just the subwoofer in the back. What's lame is spending $1300 on a speaker. But to each their own.
