I have 35's and 3.45 gears at the moment. With a pedal commander (HikeIt Throttle Controller for me), it is driveable.... But I am planning on some 4.88's this fall so I can find 5th and 6th gears again.
I’ve got the manual. But I’m going to rock my 33 rubi takeoffs and try to be patient until they wear.

What transmission? If it’s a MT, how do you like that controller?

MT and I love the controller. When I installed my lift and tires, I took the Jeep to a local shop for an alignment, and to adjust the emergency brake. My HikeIt is attached to the center console under the emergency brake. The genius working on the Jeep cut the wire to the HikeIt (not knowing there is a disconnect six inches from the display. I didn't know and when I drove it away, I immediately started looking for someone to change the gears because it drove so poorly. A few days later I realized what happened and ordered a new HikeIt. Since then, I have put off installing new gears, because it's not that bad.

Also, I would continuously stall the Jeep (I have been driving manuals since I was 16 years old). The HikeIt solved that problem. Simply, the best upgrade I have done on the Jeep. I used HCO5 setting when the Jeep was stock and now use HCO6.

Very interesting, thanks. Will have to check that out.

For as much as some like to bash it, I’ve had zero issues with the Mopar 2” lift. Over time I have added Teraflex HD and adjustable components, drag link, tie rod, track bars and Falcon steering stabilizer. These weren’t “needed” to make the lift ok, just added as preventative treatment for overall longevity.
We recently took it on an 8100km road trip to Moab, Vegas and a few other places. It’s got a comfortable road feel and feels capable and controlled on the trails.

1.5 Teraflex spacer lift with Falcon Shocks and 275/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I've liked it so far. Its not alot, but you can tell its not quite stock, which is what I was going for. Now if my Injen high tuck exhaust will get here, I can be done for a little while.

2022 Rubicon 3.5” Teraflex long arm, 38x12.5x17, Falcon shocks. Had more than a few conversations with TeraFlex and they stated 3 1/2 inch to 4” on a two door is the max you want to do because of the stock driveshafts. I agree. We are purchasing aftermarket front and rear driveshaft‘s hopefully soon. Still have plenty more parts in my garage to install. Too many. This is my wife’s. I have a 2023 Gladiator on order. I absolutely love the long arm, totally plan on installing a long arm on the gladiator as soon as I get it. (estimation: end of November)

For some reason my 2.5 lift looks stock in the mountains but high at home... details include, upgraded trackbars and control arms front & back with the 2" duratrac lift kit plus 1/2 spacer, all because I wanted 37s for my first Rubicon. And after 4 previous wrangler builds. 5th time is the charm 😉

You meant to say “it looks at home in the mountains and awesome in my driveway.”

Really nice Jeep. I’m a sucker for any HellaYella build. Very nice.

A 2 door on 35’s is great place to be. I love the look of 37’s with the right lift, but absolutely overkill for the majority of peeps who’s Jeeps are daily drivers and weekend warriors in my opinion.
I still have the internal battle of lift or stay stock suspension and add 315/70/17’s down the road.
I'm right there with you Mike. 35s and a 1.5in Clayton Overland lift seems so right though.

How’s the road noise on the Maxxis tires? Love the tread on those 🙏🏽
Just got the XS Pros and they are pretty loud lol. So glad I work from home or else they would drive me nuts.
