I was just looking at Clayton. The 1.5” seems like it would be just right. Didn’t realize shocka were so high!I have been strongly considering the Clayton 1.5" for 35s on my JLR. Some pics with 2.5" lifts look like too much gap for 35s, but some look good also. Clayton describes 1.5" for fitting 35s on a Rubicon, and 2.5" for up to 37s. They do say a 2 door may get a little more than 1.5" compared to a 4 door. I thought about 2.5" and 37s, but not sure I want to do everything you should for 37s. Two options, two price points. I think you can also get the 1.5" Overland without the shocks if you want to chose your own.

There is some other stuff included in the expensive package also, I can't say what is truly needed for anyone's individual purpose. I tend to buy once and be done with it for myself.I was just looking at Clayton. The 1.5” seems like it would be just right. Didn’t realize shocka were so high!![]()
I just wanted to get an idea of what people are going with and what purpose it serves for them. Plus it is good know which manufacturers are bringing a solid product.Great subject... I'm torn between wheeling stock until I feel I need to lift or doing something like 35s and a little lift now. Knowing that down the road I could be kicking myself.
I guess it is all part of the journey.
Look forward to more responses...
I’m in the same camp. For now, the wallet says rock the stock. So I will until the wallet’s cup runneth over.Great subject... I'm torn between wheeling stock until I feel I need to lift or doing something like 35s and a little lift now. Knowing that down the road I could be kicking myself.

That’s my philosophy. I’ve built Jeeps before, had regrets and ended up spending way more than I would have if I just went with my gut the first time. There is some other stuff included in the expensive package also, I can't say what is truly needed for anyone's individual purpose. We also sell the full Overland Plus kit outside of the package deal if that's what you're looking for! 2 doors get about 2.25" of lift, and look great on either 33s or 35s.I was just looking at Clayton. The 1.5” seems like it would be just right. Didn’t realize shocka were so high!![]()
