Pulled off the Bestop Sunrider and replaced my Freedom Panels for the winter. Just wanted to show how the pads are compressed under the soft top hardware.

Yeah it's WeatherTech. The label peels right off, so I removed it.

Honest question - why do you like the roll bars covered? Protecting the paint, personal preference on looks, or ?

I apparently completely over looked this entire topic. A quick search showed me there are some strong opinions about Jeep's decision to remove them. Coming from a JK I actually like that they are painted.

I apparently completely over looked this entire topic. A quick search showed me there are some strong opinions about Jeep's decision to remove them. Coming from a JK I actually like that they are painted.
I think they are ugly with all the holes and indentions for the screws on the plastic parts, etc so I wanted them covered.

Totally agree with you. I think it looks cooler without rollbar covers, especially with half doors.
