I also know the 2-door probably would not exist today without the sales generated from the 4-door and probably the Gladiator.

2-door Wranglers existed for 20 years before a 4-door option was available, and they sold just fine.
The introduction of the 4-door was a game changer, however, and it drastically improved sales. 4-door sales now control 80% of all Wrangler sales. But, I cannot see Jeep EVER discontinuing the original 2-door.

Ya'll killing me with these photos. The practical grey matter says get the four door, but the other side is yelling get the 2 door. Already got a 2-door TJ - so much fun.

I sold my '97 TJ after 14 years and began to regret it almost immediately. Even now that I have my JL, I still have fond memories of my TJ. I think it was the most iconic of the Wrangler models.

We are a two 2 door family. Husband has the exact same in Sting Gray. Popped out the backseats so we never have to give anyone other than Indiana a ride.

Did you get your 2-door with the turbo 4-cyl or the V6? Getting ready to visit my Jeep dealership and order a new Jeep. If I go 2-door I'm leaning towards 8-speed automatic and the turbo 4-cyl. Thanks.
