i figured that i should not have any problems running the kayak with the racks on the back half of the hard top. i can even sit the kayak back a bit and not leave too much of a overhang out back. The rack is the Mopar OEM roof rack. I use it for our Coleman Scanoe which is 14’ long and 85 lbs. When I’m carrying the scanoe I move the front rack up so that it’s attached to the Freedom panels.
do you notice any issues when you run the front rack on the freedom panels while carrying a load.
I think you’d be fine keeping them on as you see in my photos for your kayak. I move the racks up because of the length and weight. Those scanoes are pigs!
Bronze wheels on Sting Gray FTW! NICE!2020 2dr Sting Gray with Rock Trix Rt111 wheels and Nitto Terra Grappler 285/70-17. Also added some "custom" foot pegs
They add even more room when you cut 'emHaha yes. The Rubicon fenders add quite a bit of room. Well worth it in my opinion. Rubicon on the left and sport flare on the right
Love the look of this Jeep. I am looking into the same tire size on stock steelies with the 1.5" Teraflex spacer kit as well. I am torn between the 285/70/17 or the 285/75/17 though. Do you have any rubbing or any issues with your tire size and the spacer kit?
Love the rims...
