@jlopes68 - will do! Thanks!

I hope to have some new pics next week. Lots of upgrades on the way. The new shocks and springs are the last piece of the puzzle.

I waited for the aftermarket to catch up with the JL as far as bumpers and lighting go and developed this sag in the meantime.... it’s never ending. Lol
Never ending, it just goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on......

Hey TJ,

You planning on going to Jeeptoberfest this weekend? It looks like it might be a wet one.

It is actually even more important in a sport without lockers and not just for rock crawling. I was thinking of doing a vid about the how and why. Was trying to gauge interest.
How would one disconnect the sway bar on a Sport? And why is it important to do it? Yeah, I'm showing my "noob-ness" here but I'd sure like to learn why! :)

Its only 2 bolts, you remove the bottom two of your sway bar links swing your sway bar links up and bungee them out of the way using your body mount. The reason?, well you only have one tire driving on each axle with no lockers. With the front sway bar attached it takes very lil road undulation to lift one front tire off the ground. Rendering your front wheel drive useless. If disconnected, you have much more flexibility and the front tires maintain contact with the road surface. When you are done wheeling, just un bungee the links and reattach. They make quick disconnects for this also.

i know no ones going to like my take on securing the trunk space but this is what we do. we very, very rarely leave our jeeps out of sight. especially in the cities. we choose restaurants where we can view them, when shopping, one goes in while the other stays with the jeeps. in this way we have only lost a case of water someone lifted out the back quite some time ago. it is inconvenient but effective. the only time they get left out of sight is when they are completely empty, or just have just a case of water in back lol
Ha ha! You’re right, John, no one likes it !!!!lol
So far I’ve been lucky. And now that the rains are starting, I’ll probably give in and put my doors and soft top back on. Getting wet when it’s 40 degrees out not much fun... at least it will be more secure.

Just got back from a trip to Pa for the graffiti highway. JEEP runs and tracks fantastic since installing the lift with adjustable control arms
