doing up the 2.5 with the 37's seems like a great combo, wish I had garage room for the 3.5, but with the MN winters I would be stuck inside every time it snows.

And here I was all but sold on going with a 3.5, but this looks really good. Do the Nitto's measure to a 37 or are they a bit smaller?
They measure 36”

2.5" lift with 38's.
2.5 or 3.5 would be fine with 37's. I think Accutune is running 40's on a 2.5" lift with high lined fenders. You just need to bump stop it if needed.
The 2.5 will keep the geometry a tad better. The 3.5 will get the belly up higher if dragging on rocks.

Nitto 37’s and MC 2.5 were just right for me. Plenty capable for what I use it for and handles great on the road.

The MC 2.5 looks like it give the same lift as a previous poster 3.5. Did you measure actual lift?

It looks stock, so no heavy front/rear bumper and skid plates yet. That'll lower it a bit, I guess.

After debating this literally for months, I finally decided on the Maximus-3 GEO 2.5 lift mainly for the focus towards the geometry and quality of road ride since mine will be off road a very small percentage of the time. I matched it with the slightly smaller diameter BGG K02 37s. So far, Even though it has only been a couple of weeks, I could not be happier. The ride is fantastic, better than stock in my opinion. The steering definitely improved, tracks straight as a string on the highway and feels much tighter with less play. I considered a dozen different combinations and changed my mind a dozen times. Totally happy with my final decision.

Hey @D-Bone, still hoping you'll post a perfectly perpendicular side shot of that lift soon!

Don't worry Fire Burns, I plan on posting a bunch of shots. Just been buried in work and it has been pouring rain!

More pics coming though, I promise!

I didn’t measure. Dropped it off for lift with 150 miles on the odometer. Metalcloak is designed to give you the advertised lift on a fully armored jeep. My JK had a trail weight of 6400. Wanted this one to stay light.

I have the Rock Krawler 2.5" X-Factor lift on a Rubicon with 37" Patagonia M/Ts. I ended up removing the back of the rear wheel wells (the plastic crap between the wheel wells and the rear bumper) because it rubbed on some of the trails. The rubbing I believe would have happened with any lift size if you were on the right trail with 37" or bigger tires. You can see in the pictures with and without the plastic pieces removed from the rear wheel wells.

Hope this helps.

The 37" K02s ride fantastic. I didn't need a lift at all. Much smoother over rough roads and seems to corner better too

I have 37” STT pros and a 2” spacer lift from Pro Comp. love the setup but at full flex it does rub slightly. 2.5” would be perfect any thing more wouldn’t fit in the garage.

So I went with the metalcloak 2.5in gamechanger on my JL after having just installed the 3.5in gamechanger on my JK. They are understated for sure. Here’s the JL on 37s. I plan on going 39s next week (tires are here but I’m having ACDF surgery tomorrow so may take a few days recovery) but plan on staying with the 2.5in lift. I do have the American Adventure Labs highline fenders so not too much worried about rubbing. Worse comes to worst I’ll throw the 3.5in springs in and call it done.
