Like many, I put takeoff rubicon wheels / ko2’s on my sport. But I am probably one of the few that used springs and shocks from a 2-door rubicon with a hard top. It made my 2-door soft top sport sit perfect (in my eyes), just like a stock rubicon. You can probably get 2-door takeoffs for a six pack of beer. But you also need to consider if you’re going to add weight. I have the mopar stubby bumper in the front, no winch. Stock bumper out back.

What spacer kit did you use? Teraflex?
Yes Teraflex. The kit comes with a 1.5” for the rear and a 1” spacer for the front. I added a .5” spacer to the front as it sits level to begin with. The spacers are made to be stacked. I have a Willys which comes with the Rubicon shocks. I also added the longer Mopar LCA.s.

More importantly, how does that big dog like your Jeep?

Haha she has never been in it. Unfortunately she has bad hips and can’t really jump. She’s a 150lb and we need to borrow a minivan when we take her to the vet.

Darn, tough when those large dogs can't get around easily, looks like a great dog though :)

I have someone locally selling this all for $100.
He told me it’s off a 4dr hardtop with a tow package.
im waiting for photos of spring rate for confirmation but may pull the trigger.

@blnewt any number in inches lifted I should expect on my 2 door with this kit?

Dissenting opinion - get high fenders and 34s, no lift. It will drive better and have more diff clearance.

It’s hard to know for sure without knowing exactly your config, and theirs. Spacers are the only thing guaranteed. You might get 1”, you might get 2”. If you don’t get what you want, you can always add spacers later, but it’s basically doing the job twice.

On a 2dr if the springs are in the 60/61 & 90/91 give or take a number you should expect 1.75 to 2" lift on a stock Sport 2dr. If you have any heavier stuff like steel bumpers, skid plates, winch it'll take 1/2" to 3/4" off that. Mine has 59/61 & 90/91 set and I got approx 2" gain FWIW. I then lost about 1/2" in front w/ steel stubby bumper and winch (so I added a 3/4" front spacer). I also added steel rear bumper and full belly skids but didn't notice much drop w/ those, I'm guessing maybe a 1/4" all around but ??? Since doing that I went up in tire size (315/70/17s) so I removed the 3/4" front spacer but added a Teraflex spacer set for a 4dr, it's got a 2" front spacer and a 1.5" rear spacer so I ended up w/ a 1.5" overall lift from my previous version w/ 295/70 (33.3") tires. Hope that makes sense.

That is right where I want to be. I saw yours and it sits perfect so I’ll aim for those spring rates.
