Howdy!
I have a 2018 Jeep JL with the 2.0 4cyl turbo engine. I recently got an oil change (5300 miles) and I noticed they used 5W-20 instead of 5w-30.
The book recommended 5W-30, contacting the Jeep wave people they said 5W-30, but if the dealer said 5w-20 was alright than they trust their trained people.
The dealer also referenced a small “catch all” box that said approved oil weights and that was in that area.
Should I be concerned? Love the turbo, got a killer deal new, but off Calendar year.
