2.0 Turbo - Engine Hesitation/Bogging Down w/CEL

Just limped to the shop with my ‘18 JLUR 2.0 turbo with 24k miles. It randomly started to bog down and have no power above 2k RPM or so. It couldn’t even make it to 2500 with it floored. CEL came on shortly after.

Tried restarting a few times, nothing helped. Was driving in the city when it started.

Anyone had this issue? Waiting to hear back from shop, but could be Monday before I hear anything.

Was thinking something related to fuel pump or filter.

I had burned a little over half a tank of the current gas in it without any issues, for what it’s worth.

UPDATE

It’s throwing a fuel system code. Shop will investigate further on Monday.

A hose on the pressure side of the turbo has come off, leaking, or split.

I've experienced on other turbo vehicles and it does exactly what you describe.

There was also a post on here with someone who had the same issues with the 2.0L and it was also the same problem.

How about a visual check, sounds like you could see the faulty hose
