2500 miles, all highway, average speed 55, 34psi on stock KO2's, sea level to 6500' elevation, 32F to 75F (last summer through this winter). Average 25mpg. I drive with a light foot, but I was expecting < 20, so this was a pleasant surprise

My folks Sport S on stock tires was getting 30.1 mpg when we were driving on highway in FL (going about 60 mph) the last weekend. Crazy mileage. Around town it seemed to drop to 26.

Just hit 1000 miles on my stock Sport S, 2-door with Michelin A/Ts. I'm at 22.1 mpg currently on 87 octane. Miles are a mix of short highway (70-75mph to avoid being run over) and in-town commute.

37s and no lift on my first full tank I’m getting 20.1 in CO on 85. Most of my driving has been to the grocery store though on 55mph roads. I’m sure freeway will be like 13mpg as usual at 80mph.

I have 3,600 miles and am averaging 17.9 on 91 at 5,300 ft elevation. This is an XR and I am running 35 psi on the K02s. I drive 90% city and see my best mpg when I am on 45 - 55 mph roads.

Closing in on 10,000 miles, averaging 20.5 mpg. Approx. 500 ft elevation. Willys XR, running 33 psi on the K02s, usually fuel up with 91/93. I drive a lot of rural with some city and some highway. I also see the best mpg when I am on 45 - 55 mph roads.

I think something is wrong with my 2.0l JLUR I just purchased. It has 50k miles on it and no matter how I drive I cannot get above 14mpg. I have a 3 inch lift on 35 A/Ts and do have an after market front bumper with a winch. The engine is noisy like a diesel but I hear that is normal for this motor. I have a appt. with the dealership on Monday but feel like they are just going to blame it on the tire size and other mods. From what I see on this forum most people are still getting an avg mpg of 18-19 with 35-37 tires. Any advice or experience with what could cause this low of mpg?

depends how you drive it, i suspect a lot of guys drive like grandmas to purposely get better mileage. with all those mods that sounds about right to me

I think that’s what I rode when I was in Neftyugansk Russia back in 1992.
