Rented a 4dr Willys stock this past week. Mostly highway driving and the mixed/slow highway going through the Florida Keys. Was very impressed by the engine pep and the gas mileage.

This trip shows what I assume is their last few rentals, but this is what we were seeing at the end of our trip:
Jeep Wrangler JL 2.0 owners, what MPG are you averaging? 2D1F4195-5ADF-4EDC-9E00-DF97A7CF9E8E

Ours is probably within 0.5 mpg but it's my wife's dd and I asked her to reset the odo the next time she fills up so I can manually calculate it and show everyone on here that if you do not top it off after the nozzle clicks off on its own that is a lot more accurate. Stay tuned to this station for the results in about a week.

I keep my air pressure at 34psi to help control wandering after doing the chalk test. I use my cruise control everywhere I can, I ease on the gas at takeoff, and never exceed the posted speed limit. I run Irving 87 octane only since new, and I am getting about 21 mpg figuring mileage with math at every fill up since new in July. My math always shows I am getting 1 mpg less than the computer says. To put this in perspective, my 2020 Silverado with 2.7T 4 cylinder got 24 mpgs with the same gas, and same driving style.

Stock 2021 Willys, 2300 miles, no mods at all. On a good day, 20.7 seems to be the average, I go from 19.3-21.7 if I do a little highway.

Update on my mileage at ~2 months in.

Out the gate driving 7 hours back from TN and a few weeks following, my dash showed 27MPG.

Since then with combined driving, it had settled in at 24-25. Manual calculations were within a reasonable tolerance.

Last 2 tanks have dropped to 23.5 which I attribute to winter gas formula phasing in.

At 24 I'm happy, if it stays there.

Historically, all my new cars have increased gas mileage after they get broken in and things loosen up.

We shall see.

That on-screen MPG is probably wrong too. Mine is about 1.5-2.0 MPG optimistic vs a hand calculation. If it says 22.5, it's more like 21 when hand calculated. I have had it show 30MPG on a highway drive, was more like 27 when hand calculated which still isn't bad, but the trip computer is optimistic.
This is exactly why I didn't buy a Jeep before, 15mpg. Now with this 2.0 and some of the numbers people are seeing, I CAN afford the fuel for it! :D

My Wrangler 2.0 JLU Sahara (without e torque) has got about 4000 miles.
The average fuel consumption is 19,4 mpg (or 12,1 liter per 100 Kilometer as we count it in Germany).
It´s a a good mix of motorway, country roads and city.
