Anybody with a 2.0 on 35" tires have MPG info? Obviously, it's a Jeep, in just curious what people are getting.

Please specify:

1) Model/Trim (Unlimited Rubicon, for example)
2) Highway speeds (60mph? 70mph?)
3) City vs highway driving mix (50%/50%? 30%/70%?)
4) Tire model/size (Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 315/70R17 for example)
5) Location (Devner CO or Houston TX for example)
6) Is mileage calculator from fill or from EVIC readout?
7) Is your tire size correct in the Jeep? (re-calibrated)?

Just trying to get an idea where people are at with details that make it useful information. Thanks!

Have 2.0 Rubicon JLU with 35" nitto terra grappler g2s, no lift, NJ
If I do 60mph on flat highway - I do get 23mpg, but this rarely happens.
at ~70mph I get around 18mpg, in the city (newyork city traffic) - get around 15mpg.

FWIW, the above post fits my experience with about 800 miles on the Jeep. 14-16 mpg with city driving, and 18-22 mpg on the highway (60-75mph). I use Shell 93 octane gas.

1) Model/Trim (Unlimited Rubicon, for example)
JLUR

2) Highway speeds (60mph? 70mph?)
60-75mph

3) City vs highway driving mix (50%/50%? 30%/70%?)
75% City

4) Tire model/size (Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 315/70R17 for example)
Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 315/70R17

5) Location (Devner CO or Houston TX for example)
San Antonio, TX

6) Is mileage calculator from fill or from EVIC readout?
Calculated

7) Is your tire size correct in the Jeep? (re-calibrated)?
Yes, set at 34.250 and speedometer is accurate to 80mph (GPS verified)

Speeds on highway drive ~70
About a 70/30 mix of county roads/ highway. County roads roads are fairly hilly with a good bit of elevation change. Speeds on those portions are around 55.
315/70/17 STT Pro
Recalibrated for tire size with tazer
93 octane
Huntsville, AL

Mileage is showing an indicated 17.8 down from 19.5 stock.
Have yet to fill up to verify actual mileage EVIC was showing a little over 1mpg higher than actual when stock

Haha, good call out. I should have worded that differently. At least the thread will get a lot of views!

6) Required speedo re cal?
Even if you calc MPG manually the MPG is not correct if the speedo has not been re cal'd. The odometer will read less miles than actually traveled, reducing MPG.

Updated! Added a question regarding the mpg calculation, as it's important to know if it was done via fillups/math or just reading the EVIC output, which reports incorrectly high mileage.
