A vacuum leak would raise idle. Take a look at the 2 vacuum lines that go into the intake. Think one is for the brake booster and the other for EVAP? A couple of people mentioned theirs were loose and not snapped in fully. I'd take it in to the dealer if that's not it. Good Luck. When in park. RPM goes up and auto start/stop service light comes on.
The check engine code was recorded. I'd bring it in.Iām lost. My CEL just went out. This is the weirdest thing...
Good news is the service advisor saw it happen and the problem is repeatable. What was the actual code?I dropped by the dealership to have the service advisor read the code. We let it idle for about 10 minutes then like clockwork, the idle rpm picked up to about 1200 and the ESS warning light illuminated. It kicked out a high idle code. Any idea what could cause this? Vacuum leak? Dropping it so an actual tech can look at it next week.
It's not an aux switch, but all of the Tazer programmers have "winch mode" which allows you to push a button and raise the idle to 2000 RPM.Every time I read this thread I wish there was a way to rig up an aux switch to create a high idle. I would use this for winching, charging, etc.
Thank you! It's not an aux switch, but all of the Tazer programmers have "winch mode" which allows you to push a button and raise the idle to 2000 RPM.
