Hey Folks - Picked up a '19 Base JL Sport (2-Door, V-6, 6-Speed - Base model) as a 2nd vehicle in addition to my '17 Grand Cherokee. I only have ~1,300 miles on it

Over the last few weeks, as it's started to get cold here in Rhode Island, I've started having problems with intermittent operation of the gauge cluster.

As an example, Yesterday following the snowstorm, I went out to shovel/clear the Jeep. Upon getting into it and starting it, the vehicle starts right up, the center digital display works, but the gauges just bounce on the very bottom (speedo/tach) and the temp/fuel gauge read zero. The low gas light is on (since the gauge is reading empty) and i keep hearing a warning chime. Usually within a few minutes, whatever is causing the problem clears itself, and the gauges initiate (scroll to the top/bottom) and everything works fine.

Yesterday it took me turning off the Jeep and restarting it after nearly 30 minutes to get it cleared. There's no water leaks or anything which was my original thought... and nothing I can see which could be causing this.

I have seen postings on other Jeep boards about such issues, just wondering if anyone else has come across this and what was done to fix? I made an appointment for next Tuesday to get it looked at/hopefully fixed by my dealer.

Thoughts? I'm stumped on this one!!!

I've already had it in for the loose steering, and after doing the recall it helped some... now another issue. Was hoping the Wrangler would be as rock-solid reliable as my Grand Cherokee... and am now getting concerned.

People have said " make sure all relays and fuses are seated by pushing them down"
Also, check battery connections, are the lugs lined up properly in the connectors, and are they tight...
Can't hurt to try

Thanks - Yes tried that as well... No change. I've video'd it multiple times in-case the dealer comes back with the "Can't replicate" response

I'm taking mine in next week for the same issue. I'll post back with what they do to correct it.

I got my Jeep back from taking it in for the cluster issue and soft brake pedal issue. There was a bulletin for flashing the cluster software, which they performed.

They could not replicate the issue, which I figured would be the case because it was so intermittent. I did have several pictures I was able to show them to confirm there was an issue.

So far so good, I have not had the cluster not turning on issue since...knock on wood!
