I determined that I want Fuel Beast wheels but I’m torn on what size to get. I’ve been looking and in some pictures 18s look good, some they don’t, and some pictures have 20s looking good, others don’t. What would be the best to go with considering I don’t go too extreme with my off-roading, but love to go out in the snow in the winter? Please post pictures of 18 or 20 inch beast wheels if you have them. Thanks!

I would never do 20's too hard of a ride, 18's provide a nice sidewall and comfort ride without too much bouncing. What is equally as important is offsett. The Stock offset for my Sahara stock was +44 which helps keep the wheel in the well however once you get to a negative offset they really start to hang out. I did +18 offset and the 12.5" tires still hang out about 2".

The Offset was the biggest factor for me I did not want the tires too far out to limit rock throwing

You will also require a lift. Les Scwab does a spacer lift 2" for $425 (note: I may even move up to a shock and spring 3" lift

Here are my 35x12.5 with +18 offset (these are XD Monster II 18x9 +18)

About how much would a +1 offset stick out? I like the look of the tires sticking out a little, but don’t want them to stick out too much to the point where they cause issues.

I went with 17x9 -12 offset
With Toyo M/T's 35x12.5

Was torn whether to go with the +1's but figured the -12 would be better if I decided I needed 37x13.5's

But the Beast is a sweet wheel

I would not go any less then a +10 offsett, again your Sahara stock were +44. For me this is about a low as I would want to go. My wheel choice was a large part based on offset alone.

It looks like those wheels have a +20 offset so you are in great shape.

You may already know this, If you are buying the wheels online without tire installed (except for Tire Rack), most tire shops will charge like double or more to mount them.

As for Tires what works also to help keep the rock throwing down Goodrich KO-2's tires have a early curve on the edge of the tire so while the tire sticks out the aggressive part of the tread that grabs the rocks is 95% inside the fender flare

I agree if you ever planned to go to 37's you would want a negative offset...
