18 inch rim summer, 16 inch rim winter???

Hi

I have the factory 18 inch for the JL.

I want to get winter rim but can get some factory jeep 16 inch rim for really cheap.

Would that work? Jeep will loose 2 inch?

Also 16 inch rim mean cheaper winter tire.

Advise or recommendation?

Lose has one "o". Advice is spelled with a "c". Now to your question:

You can go with a 16" rim but you will need to get a tire with higher sidewall so that you don't lose the 2" of clearance. You want to keep the overall diameter of the tire within 3% of stock, and preferably within 1%, if possible.
