For what it's worth, I have a manual transmission so I'm already habitually winding the gears out more than an automatic's shift points. It was louder and I mostly stopped noticing unless I thought about it.. which meant I would think about it and TRY to make it loud by flooring it.

If you did want it louder you could cut the Helmholtz resonator off and plug the opening off (that black thingy is a common trick to make air movement quieter.) I had done that before on a stock intake on another car. Though I've also read those things can actually be a part of the trick which pushes more air through as the air builds up extra pressure in the cavity.

It sounds fine.

When you sell any vehicle, any customizations you've done typically do not increase the value of your selling price. If you lift your Jeep, give it big tires, a sound system, or a supercharger that may interest some buyers but it usually doesn't mean you'll get more money on the sale of the vehicle. That's why parts swapping is so common with people who like to do upgrades.

My dad was in car sales for 20+ years and I have heard all of the car business rules of thumb. Looking to sell my Jeep soon so I want to recoup on my toys.
