From Phoenix I would do the southern Utah parks, Zion, Bryce, the Wave, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches with the Grand Canyon southern rim, Sedona and Monument Valley thrown in.
Yep. Those are some great places. I’ve been to all of those before. I’m making a mission to visit all the NPs in the US. I’ve been to several already. Trying to make the rounds. Although going back to monument valley once it’s opened back up. It’s been over 15 years since I’ve been there.

!!Warning!! There is no Jeep related content in this post, but it was a trip in my JL. It's pretty much an all picture thread. Feel free to ask any questions, I didn't provide a lot of travel details, it's mostly pictures.

In the spring of 2019, we decided to visit family in Seattle. Instead of flying, I decided to drive and make it a 2 week photography trip. Following are some of the better pictures.

After leaving central Iowa extremely early in the morning on 8/10, I arrived at Grand Tetons NP that evening.

I'd never seen it from that angle either. I just happened to see it off in the distance and used a big zoom lens to get the shot.

Thank you for the great pictures.

We did some similar tracks as yours in July 2020, about 5500 miles. SD, ND, MT, WY, ID and CO, I love that part of the country, the mountains. We made it up to Hidden Lake in Glacier, did the Beartooth Highway, the Tetons, one day thru Yellowstone, Black Hills, TRoosevelt NP, ..... much, much more. Trick in the busy National Parks is to start early, eg we would head out around 5am, somewhat get a head start on the crowds.

Love your pic's, sadly we are not great photographers. We may head back up that way this summer, thinking of adding WA and OR. But will also get the mountain off-road fix in the San Juans.

You have an extraordinary eye. I have been many of those locations, but usually decide not to take photos because they will not match the beauty in person. Your photos do illustrate how magnificent that part of our United States truly is! Thank you.

I bought my 2019 Wrangler in Nampa, Idaho and drove it back to Nashville, TN with my Brother. We hit some great parks and some great back roads. I recommend an experience like this for everyone sometime!

Very beautiful scenery. I'm doing Rocky Mountain, Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, Grand Canyon, and Petrified Forest National Parks, most likely in mid to late August. Also spending a week in the Ouray, Silverton, and Telluride, CO, area on same trip. I'm hoping to have a small trailer (most likely a Flyer Pursue) by then.

I'd also do the GC north rim...more spectacular vistas than the south rim (IMHO).

Now that I think about it, there's 2 pictures of Delicate Arch and I'm not sure we were talking about the same one. :)
