!!Warning!! There is no Jeep related content in this post, but it was a trip in my JL. It's pretty much an all picture thread. Feel free to ask any questions, I didn't provide a lot of travel details, it's mostly pictures.

In the spring of 2019, we decided to visit family in Seattle. Instead of flying, I decided to drive and make it a 2 week photography trip. Following are some of the better pictures.

After leaving central Iowa extremely early in the morning on 8/10, I arrived at Grand Tetons NP that evening.

Got up around 2 am and headed to Oxbow Bend for some night shots.

I was rained out most of the time at Mt Rainer and didn't get many shots. From there I headed to Moab. The following shots are from Arches NP, Canyonlands NP and Dead Horse SP.

Wow, beautiful pics! I want to visit them all now. What is your camera setup? I'm assuming you are doing a little correction in photoshop too?

I bought a Canon EOS R for the trip and I've got quite a few Canon lenses. Your assumption regarding Photoshop correction is correct.

That's what it's called. Or Moulton barn on Mormon Row.

Beautiful shots. My wife’s the pro but she’s not really gotten into the outdoor scenery aspect. We’re planning a big trip to, as of yet, undetermined destinations in the MT, WY, ID, & WA area so I’ll be hoping we can get some good shots. These are inspiring. Thanks!

If you are not familiar with Glacier NP, check into it. Lots of scenic views, but it will be very crowded.

Gotcha. Well I was just having fun. But seriously, those pictures, my goodness. You could sell them. Excellent shots.

Beautiful pics! How was your JL road experience? Was it comfortable? Did you have anyone riding the back seat? How did they like it?

I was solo, so no back seaters. No comfort issues for me and there were a lot of hours behind the wheel. Plus 3 nights sleeping in the drivers seat which I do not recommend.

The JL drove great, even before the steering box upgrade. I was keeping up with traffic on 4 lane (each way) twisty Montana highway with 85mph speed limit, so actually driving 90 mph which I do not recommend.

Amazing pics and looks like a fun road trip. I’ve been contemplating what road trip NP tour I wanted to do with my 3 weeks vacation this year and this helped make that decision. Thanks for the pics!

Thank you for posting. I’m one that has little artistic ability, so I can never take pictures of that quality. So thank you for sharing.

From Phoenix I would do the southern Utah parks, Zion, Bryce, the Wave, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches with the Grand Canyon southern rim, Sedona and Monument Valley thrown in.
