I've had the OEM wheels off and I wouldn't think 15" wheels would accommodate those brakes...certainly not those bigger Rubicon brakes.

Probably going to take some grinding of the calipers for 15s to fit. I think 16" may be the way to go with the JL. 285/75 16 tires are cheaper than most 17s in a 33".

The problem is the selection is just so poor for 16s

No Ridge Grapplers or Duratracs in decent sizes supporting 16s.
