I started this one ton swap, however due to some life changes, moving and such, the project has to be abandoned, so my loss is your gain. Here at the details
The rear: 14 Bolt out of a 2001 Chevy 2500. With the 10.5” ring gear.
I bought new wheel hubs and pressed Timken bearings and races in. I had the hub machined and a 60 tooth tone ring pressed on from Artec. It also has the abs sensor bracket included as well.It has two sets of stock axle shafts(30 spine). I also have an Artec truss/bracket kit that enables it to bolt directly to a JL platform. The diff is stripped so it does not come with any gears or anything, it’s bare as it is in the pictures. In addition. I have a brand new set of power stop brakes for the axle, drilled/slotted rotors, red calipers, and dust free ceramic pads. The rear only needs a locker and gears, everything else is ready to go. Now for the front!
The front is a Dana 60 out of a 2011 F-250. Diff is bare as well, no gears. I have a brand new set of Moog wheel hubs in box for it. I pressed in moog ball joints to the knuckle, it has moog camber/caster adjustment for the knuckle as well. No brakes included. I have a brand new set of Spicer shafts for it with the massive 1550 u-joint. It is 35 spline on both ends(better than the older generations). The axle is 80% shaved, it still needs some of the casting cut off to allow for a truss or bracket kit, but I’ve done the hard stuff, the rest is easily doable with a 4 1/2 angle grinder. Also, both axles were professionally sandblasted.
Shoot me an offer, I’d like to get $4000 for everything but again, open to offers. Im located in Chino Hills, CA, text me at 909-217-4201.
