Looks like they've finally started to release JL lifts. Hopefully more soon. Not sure 100% what this lift is for (since you can only clear 33s without new bump stops), but apparently you can clear 35s with new bump stops...

I installed the 1.5 spacers (1165200), bump stop striker kit (1959500), and Falcon shocks (1101214000003). Sort of the poor mans ST1 system. I didn't do the true ST1 since I can't figure out the need for those $95 Falcon bump stops (the striker kit I understand, but these I do not).

I have 35's though... a no-lift Rubicon with 35's should have the bump stop striker kit anyway if it might see full articulation. The 35's would hit the fenders. On 33's you shouldn't need them.

Really happy with the way it turned out! I wanted back the fender gap the 35's took away and wanted take out the small amount of rake while not going too tall (I have kids to lift up into the back).

The only thing I hated was prying off the front brake line brackets. Holy cow what a PITA!

Im reallly thinking of getting those falcon shocks. How is your experience with them compared to stock? How is the on road feeling going through bumps and potholes at a fast speed? Thanks

Just ordered mine, did you install the bump stop kit too?

I didn’t install the bumpstop kit on ours. I did however end up adding the Falcon 2.1 shocks. I’m happy with the way the Jeep drives and there is definitely a difference from the stock rubicon shocks to the falcons.

They ride well on-road. The roads around here are pretty good so I can't comment on pot holes. I think the Falcon's ride similar to the stock rubicon shocks but my observation is they have a more firm than stock initial feel (like right when they begin to dampen), then feel very smooth & seem to soften as the stroke continues. It's hard to describe.

Other thoughts... I installed the 0-1.5 lift version. They are 1" longer than stock rubicon shocks. The bodies and shafts are also the largest diameter of any shocks I found. Not sure if this helps performance but they sure look beefy.

These are great pics that show off the quality of these shocks. I wanted to mention in this pic, the offset end where it bolts to the axle, yours is backwards. There is no mention of how this is supposed to go in the instructions. A while back I found a video, perhaps by TeraFlex, that show the offset goes away from the spring for additional clearance. I can't find the video now though?

How is the daily driver ride on this setup? Thinking of pulling the trigger but want to keep ride quality close to/better than stock

I won't speak for everyone else, but I was incredibly disappointed with the harshness of the Falcon shocks. Now granted, I am running 35" STT's and they are E rated but before the install, I was very happy with the overall ride quality. I tried for about 3 days to get accustomed to their harshness but in the end made the switch back to the stock shocks....so much better. Other than that, the ride quality doesn't appear to have changed at all. If you were thinking about running the Falcon shocks too, I've got a set with 50-75 miles on them that I'd let go for cheap.

Did you order them, yet? McBeeve didn't like them or his were defective. I'm following you to see if you get them and how they turn out.
I also figured out my rear sag issue....it was the tire. When I took it completely off and/or shoved up against the seats in the bed area, my Jeep unsagged to nearly perfectly horizontal. I'm still debating using one 0.5" spacer in the rear, one 0.5" spacer in the front & two 0.5" spacers in the rear, or just getting the entire TF 1.5" 2-door kit with shocks

Keith, just so you know, I honestly don't think mine are defective. I just think I'm getting old and therefore require the "plush" ride that the stock setup offered. :cwl:
I've been in contact with the Teraflex support and they are going to re-valve my Falcons. They will actually be picked up tomorrow by UPS, so hopefully in a few weeks I can report back if anyone is interested.
During my research, I asked their tech several questions, including can they confidently soften the ride up and was told the following
Yes we have worked with and tested a much softer valving that we can run in your shock. The jeep will not be quite as stable but feel much softer and more comfortable.
Well, I'm not too worried about the "stable" part, as I have never intended on corner carving with my lifted Rubicon.

No not yet, but they're on my long list. I'm in the process of painting my Motobilt spare delete. I noticed with the spare off the jeep did lift in the back a little bit, however i know i will always have weight in the back to offset the wheel so im going to keep my .5" spacer in. I love the leveled stock look and function.
