I'm considering installing a 1.25 body lift in addition to my 2.5 lift. Does anyone have insight as to whether I should or should not? I'm looking for a little more height. I'm just not ready to invest in another lift. It's $100 vs $2k+.

I would get some Rubi take off fenders, or do fender chop with AAL light kit before I’d do body lift. I personally don’t like the way they look..... just my✌ cents.

I second the Rubi fenders, you will gain a lot more flexing space and room for bigger tires with the Rubi fenders and they're like 500-600 USD for the set. Body lift can be an option but dealing with broken bolts can be a nasty pain and turn a one or two day project into a 4+ days project.

Keep in mind also that the sidesteps you have added will have a nice wonderfull 1.25" Gap between the body (if they're frame mounted) and the steps if you add the body lift, it may not look the way you want anymore afterwards and then you may have to change sidesteps for ones that hug the body better etc.

Very happy with my body lift. Will be adding “highline” fenders and moving to 40’s. Its your jeep, do what you want with it. I agree, i couldnt justify the jump in price from 3.5” lift to 4.5”. And im used to stacking body lifts on suspension lifts anyways. Came in handy wheeling as well.

Body lift..... I did mine for the same reasons you want to do yours..... No biggie for me and the side steps are an easy work around depending on what you want...
