I don't do any rock crawling but often have my stock Sahara JL on fairly rugged two-tracks in the western states. I'd like just a small lift of 0.75"-1.5" that'll give me a small amount of additional clearance and make a 33" tire 'comfortable' in the wheel well. I've looked at many threads here, but most seem to address lifts 2" or greater. Comments and recommendations please. Please include whether or not I would need a wheel spacer with your suggestion. Thanks!

Sorry folks! Posted in wrong forum and cannot figure out how to delete.

Take a look at the Teraflex ST-1 spacer lift. I think it's a1.5 inch lift.

If you’ve got a Sahara, your best and most economical route is to go with a take off rubicon suspension in my opinion. It would give you the 1-1.5” you’re looking for and a low mileage set of springs/shocks can be found for $100-150 usually. It would also be a true spring lift vs a spacer lift. Not that I’m against spacer lifts. I run a 2.5” spacer lift on my Willy’s and it works for me.

I have heard of this suggestion before and did not know that it could be so economical. Where do folks find take off suspensions?

Rubicon suspension ($100 -$150 used) will net you 1".
Then you also have Daystar spacers , 0.75" or teraflex 0.5" that you can throw on top of it if you need a tad more ($60)

On ebay, some offers include various "links" and some just have the springs and shocks. Are the links necessary of desirable? Are they the same as what is already on my Sahara?

No, links and controll arms are not needed - they are same as what you have.

Your links and controll arms are the same as on Rubicon. Only need springs and shocks.
This spring there will be many in for sale section of this forum for much less.

And 61/62’s up front along with 91/92’s out back. Those are the tallest gasoline engine springs I’ve seen listed. I’ve ran VIN’s with 62/62 and 92/92 as well.
