this latest version of Waze has broken voice commands even more. Not only can I not say Navigate home/work, but now can say Navigate to Kroger on Hwy 92 in Acworth GA (for instance). The more specific commands were working. And I'm not sure I like the positioning of some of the buttons. I guess I'll get used to it, but some things seems like they just changed them for change sake. Like when you report a condition, the buttons were rearranged and when you hit Police, they rearranged the locations with Hidden on the left and visible on the right now when they were the other way around before.

I just got back from a 52 mi. ride and did not have any issues...

One thing that I would like to see changed in Waze though... is now with CoolWalk split screen, to report you see a hazard, a Police Officer, etc. you have to toggle back to full screen, make the report of hazard or whatever and then toggle back to split screen. Another words, when in split screen there is no icon avail. to push on for reporting... Not that big a deal as you can toggle easily and quickly but...

My Android auto must have updated today! I noticed that my map was blank on the screen while driving. Next time I started her up, I had the new, divided screen with the map/Spotify screen. Ya can even switch the map to a satellite view. Looks much nicer than before, I love it.

Android Auto (App) has been undergoing some very significant changes lately... lots of very positive changes...

Go here often and download and install the current release.. Why wait for Google Play to get around to getting the new release to you..

Does anyone know how to stop Waze from popping up a list of my last several destinations on the left side of the screen every time I start AA? The last two destinations are already displayed in the top right-hand corner of the screen with Coolwalk and this just winds up covering most of the map until I X out of it. I already turned off "Show trip suggestions" in the Waze app. Is there some other setting somewhere?

There is no way to stop that..... at least not yet... time will tell.

Hey Rhine...I've been DLoading beta's from the mirror as you suggested and I tried the latest AA 9.3.xx and I get an error on the phone saying "App not installed as app isn't compatible with your phone".

Ya, the app is installed...but it sure does not like the mirror DL. ANy ideas how to get it to load??

Question about APKmirror...with hundreds of versions and variations, what actually is being changed? it would seem there is not that much that can be corrected or "re-written".

Who is writing and re-writing all this code? And...there is really no description of what the variants are actually doing.

I've had issues with AA locking up...where I have to unplug either the phone (Samsung S23 Ultra) or unplug AAWireless to get AA going again. None of the variants have addressed this. Just strange.

Trying to learn about this...Thanks!

Hint: Go into My Waze in Waze and delete the destination history that you have been seeing in that CoolWalk front page, listing.

No, you are not deleting the saved places but deleting history. With that said, routine cleaning out of history will at lease keep that list down to one or..

Eh, that's crap news. I actually want to keep my history. So, deleting wouldn't be a good solution for me. That's surprisingly poor UI design. Lol, maybe they recently hired a bunch of unemployed UConnect coders.
