So just wanted a place to check in at the 1 year anniversary.
So far I am loving the JLU and I hope that you all have as well.
I have learned a lot from other members on this forum along the way and I hope that I have helped a few as well!
Currently at 20k miles and have enjoyed every moment!
Today’s tip for those 1 year anniversary guys is about SiriusXM and your 12-month trial.
I called (877) 463-5346 and pressed option (3) “current subscribers customer service”.
I told them that originally the JLU was not my primary mode of transportation, 3rd vehicle, that has now become my DD. That’s all true for me but I’m sure if that’s not your situation you could also tell the tale.. Up to you.
I asked for a 3-month extension and was able to get that for a one-time “processing” fee of $2.20.
I assume that is in place to get your CC number so that they can auto renew in 3-months.
I asked that question and yes that is why. Also, it will auto-renew at the “current” rate which is usually around a whopping $27 per month...
Yeah, not happening. I plan on calling a few days before and either asking for another extension or a much lower monthly rate going forward (which is available).
Anyways that’s my tip for now hope it helps someone at their one year!
