Mounting bolts like that seem fairly common with other track systems. Do you think a different brand of ball could fit into the track?

I'm not sure. I know when I used the RAM mounts back on the JK bar they held like a charm. I don't think there is enough strength in the ball. If you look at the thread, it's very short and doesn't look like it's meant to hold anything of weight. It holds my dash cam and cell phone fine though so no complaints there!

I ordered the Body Armor trail doors with mirrors (4) and the Dirty Dog restraint nets. I know the doors aren’t a favorite here for some reason but I really like the look. I had them on my JK and my TJ and look forward to them on the JL.

I was told that they are all in powdercoat and should ship next week, which means they may arrive about the same time as my Jeep which has been sitting at the Rolla Colorado rail yard since last Friday.

The plan is to drive the Jeep home from the Dealer and take it straight into my shop to put everything on.
I hope to spend next weekend (and more) getting everything on the Jeep for the big reveal

hope to eventually get:
Rough Country front and rear Diff guards and the rear shock mount guards.
Rhino Rack (possibly with the Maximus mounting system without the ladder.)
Dead Pedal
Rugged Ridge snorkel kit (looks bad ass)
