Very happy with all the AEV products. We had the same issue with tires. Bigger is better but cost more to do right. 37” Might be in the future

My 37’s do great, provided they are paired with a good lift and steering stabilizer, and a retune of some type to get your speedometer and transmission back to accurate. I’ve had it up to 95 mph and was smooth and stable. Routine 75mph with no issues at all. Definitely would be disappointed that I didn’t do 37’s if I was in 35’s.

Haven’t posted to this in awhile. Purchased an off-road trailer that we picked up in April that quickly become the purchase from hell! The trailer will get its own post later. Just took all my time, money and frustration to a new level of unbelievable.

we added the following to the Jeep build
metalclock belly skid system, control arms, front/rear bumpers and tailgate tire carrier.

All the pics so far are the 315/70/17 tires. Update with some 37 tires next week.

Oh wow. Most of the times 3” lift w 35s looks weird but ur Jeep looks good.
Did u end up installing all 8 aftermarket control arms? Why? Was it to get better caster n pinion angles or was it more bc the geometry correction brackets that come w AEV kit sit low and reduced ground clearance? Which control arms did u go with?
Sorry for all the questions but u installed the lift I’m thinking of installing n it looks like u use ur Jeep in similar manner (camping/pulling small trailer/etc)
TIA

Yes, replaced all 8 controls arms. Still have the AEV geometry correction brackets installed. The new control arms are set to factory length. I’ve had factory arms bend in the past, actually I’ve bent every lower control that I’ve ever installed on my TJ except 1/2” wall custom made arms. (Spent a lot of time in Johnson Valley.) I have no plans for extreme rock crawling with this Jeep, however towing a trailer at max tow ratings in the desert and moderate trails I felt it was money well spent.

Change to Teraflex Nomad wheels for the 4.75” BS. About an inch more than the AEV wheels and 37” BFG AT tires.

The side x side pic- right is the 37” Left is the AEV wheels with 315’s on a stock JL
