‘18 JLUR Stuck Swaybar won’t reconnect

I used my stock electronic swaybar disconnect yesterday for the first time in a long time and it wouldn’t reconnect after very light wheeling. Any ideas on how to diagnose, reset, anything?

I know there was a thread on this awhile back and I can’t recall what all the suggestions were.

This may sound dumb, but make sure the sway bar end links are still attached. Myself and at least one other have had them come unattached. I reattached the one (had lost a nut too) and it reattached immediately.

Another trick is to get on level ground and push the button to reconnect while you rock the vehicle side to side.

I'm a little late to this because I'm looking for a Rubicon sway bar that doesn't work to purchase. You've posted in the for sale section and will get much better response in the regular tech section. If it's broken and you're replacing it let me know.
