rubber

Has anyone ever removed the foremost "triangle shaped" window rubber trim appliqué on JL doors? If so how do safety remove it? The trim rubber is getting brittle so a piece came off. Ordered a replacement piece, genuine OEM part. But not sure how to go about removing the trim on the door...

First Wrangler experience, I’m curious if any maintenance is required or recommended for the seals under the hardtop and Freedom panels to keep them from drying out and cracking. I suppose the more sunlight exposure they have the more susceptible they’d be to dry-rot.
