frameless

Got my first Jeep coming next week, 2021 JLU, first thing I'd like to do is get a soft top, looking at frameless, but even the frameless seems to have a lot of what I'd definitely classify as Frame, so, does all the hardware on a "frameless" top need to be removed when you put the hardtop back...
