Recently got myself a winch with cable that comes with a roller fairlead. I prefer the way the hawse fairleads look, but I’ve seen somewhere that they should only be used with synthetic line. Anyone run a hawse fairlead with cable? Or have any input on if it’s a terrible idea to swap it out??

New Warn hawse fairlead from a 12,000lb Platinum Zeon winch. Warn part ST87631 It color looks somewhere between the regular one and the polished unit. Also it measures 1.25" vs 1" (I'm guessing because its from the 12k winch)
