am/fm antenna

Hi, I bought a new am/fm antenna and the reception is crap. I’d like to buy and new base and wiring and disconnect from the back of the Uconnect 8.4”. I’m going to try to run the work and new base under the hood. Anyone know what type the antenna wiring is? It’s not the same as the older...
