what side steps are those ?
    1. Pjmemt
They are the ROAM Rock Railes! I researched for about a year before I pulled the trigger on them! They rock!

Really liking this setup and trying to make a list for my 2019 Rubi when it gets delivered. How's your MPG? I run the kids around a lot and want a good balance or look, function, and performance. This seems to hit all 3!
    1. ward1design
MPG is awful, my daily highway commute is 30 miles each way. But then again, didnt buy it for the gas savings lol.

Which speakers are those? They look amazing and like they actually fit!! Did you cut new speaker holes? This thing must sound amazing. Really nice work
    1. ward1design
Much appreciated! Speakers are Focal ES 165X2 component systems. Yes new templates had to be fabricated to make them fit. Thank You!

How long are those tires expected to last? im looking for a good 35 that will last. and How did did you mount that flag:flag:
    1. ward1design
i usually get 30-40k out of them, this is my daily driver and i put a lot of highway miles on it.

the flag was just zip-tied to the back roll bar, while lodged between the sub-box and sidewall.

did you install these yourself? if so, how difficult was it? ideally i'd like to be able to control them manually with the phone app as well as having the option to turn them on when I unlock the doors.
      Meatwad, Aug 29, 2018
    3. ward1design
I did not install them, they were a part of the custom audio install. This version is not controlled via an app, but has the "Mercedes Fade" when the door closes etc.

Don't take this the wrong way but are you ever going to go wheeling with this?
    1. ward1design
None taken. And don't take this the wrong way, but...was that a requirement before ordering, or does everyone have the opportunity to enjoy their Jeep in their own way as individuals?

LOL... good point. Many a Jeep here will never off road and there are some who gut them to the floor boards and off road them all the time. You've got that thing set up where you could do some serious rock crawling and trails, just wondering if you were going to take advantage of that.

how did you fit 6.5 speakers i thought the jl had 4 inch can you post pics
    1. ward1design
Showtime Audio in Chicago custom fabricated each location for the install, and then designed actual templates based off my Jeep, in order to have it available to other 2018 JLs.

I love that bikini top- is it aftermarket? can you give me more info on it and do you like it?
    1. ward1design
that's not a bikini top, that is the factory soft-top in "canopy mode"
      ward1design, Jun 7, 2018
    2. Butler7508
gotcha- I didn't know that's what it looked like, never had the soft top.
Do you like it? How long did it take to install?
      Butler7508, Jun 7, 2018
    3. ward1design
not long at all, i've never had a soft-top either, but opted for the dual group this go round. I really like the ease of raising and lowering, and the removal of the windows is a breeze.

LOVE the beast wheels - likely going with the black/machined on my black Sahara once the aftermarket lifts finally hit. I think yours just locked in that decision...

@ward1design no issues with the rear camera I presume? Sensors?
