TheStraightPipes did a review of a JL Rubicon (with 6200km/3800 miles on the dial) recently and FCA continues to uphold the name they created for themselves in terms of reliability or lack thereof...
Service axle locker system warning (10m 17s):
Reverse camera gone blue/blank (11m 39s)...
If I'm in USA I'd have bought a JL as soon as the orders opened because Jeeps are a local product and owners and dealers are aplenty. For anyone outside of US territory, for every person buying a Jeep, there are 10 others who are lining up to say I told you so and authorities wouldn't take much...
Very unfortunate but a whole lot of I-told-you-sos:

Simpler = better.
When I'm lowering the soft top in my JKU, I only need to remove the rear quarter soft windows (yes, I know the owner's manual says to take everything completely off including the tailgate/rear soft window as well as my pants but I've been fine keeping those on, sorry for killing your buzz Jeep...
Hi Quadratec,
Can you make something to cover up or hide that hideous gash behind the front fender that you and I both know doesn't really help in cooling anything when stationary?
Is it possible to make an entire replacement panel?
I miss the simple and clean looks of Wranglers.
The JL is being tested in the Australian Outback and article speaks of the first updates the new JL is going to get:

Does anyone know if there's a difference between the stock mufflers in the 2L JL vs. 3.6L JL vs. 3.6L JK?
I'm surprised if they didn't do anything in this aspect to improve torque or at least reduce weight. Does anyone know the differences?

PS: Discussion #1000 of this forum
Some might say these are features but some are definite issues but either way, it's good to have a compilation of these to show anyone who refuses to accept these (e.g. dealers, etc.) and to give FCA some feedback to improve future Wranglers.

A thread for anyone ordering a JL/JLU in Australia... tell us what you have found out.
As of the 2nd week in January 2018, several Jeep dealerships I checked with didn't even know that the JL is physical (meanwhile US customers were already taking deliveries). They thought no one had seen one...
There's no replacement for a Wrangler but why should Jeep hold out on a V8 option from arguably their bread and butter that is the Wrangler when FCA puts V8s in grocery getters like the Grand Cherokee SRT and Durango SRT?
The closest cousins of Wranglers also have fun V8 options. E.g. Mercedes...
Anyone know if 4H Auto is mainly front wheel drive until traction is lost? Manual says:
2H
Rear Wheel Drive High Range — This range is for normal street and highway driving on dry, hard surfaced roads.
4H AUTO
Four-Wheel Drive Auto High Range — This range sends power to the front wheels. The...
Came across some articles with some interesting details about the Australian JL that should be good for those Jeep trivia nights...
1. Arrival in showrooms will be "late next year" :(
2. The biggest change is not a change: No 3.0L diesel. Instead it'll be the current 2.2L diesel offered in the...
Which currently known features, design decisions would you rather not see in the new JL/JLU?
Here's my main list...
1. Vents, vents and more vents. Glad that the Sahara/Overland doesn't have the hood vents but those mandatory side vents just look wrong. I like my Wrangler to look like the...
