My crankshaft broke at 4,400 miles on my '23 Rubicon and needed a new engine among other things. Its been at the dealership 3.5 months. FCA is now getting sued on my behalf in Federal Court under the lemon law. Hopefully they won't keep playing you and dragging it out like they did with me.

Yeah, drove it normal too. No offroad, just local town roads and highway.

Yep, if a repair in Virginia within the first 18 months is 30 days or longer, it falls under the lemon law.

An update....dealer said the crankshaft broke, among other things, so it needs a new engine at 4,200 miles. They also said 800+ 3.6 etorque engines are on order from dealers with only 100 in production so this may not be an isolated issue. I won't have this back for months. Haven't heard...

Yep, one of my concerns is parts being available, especially if there are engine parts needed.

Service manager said something like $35 a day reimbursement for a rental. Had to rent a SUV because of all the stuff we had packed. Won't cover all of it but at least half maybe.

Yeah initially I thought it was coolant from a busted line until I swiped the ground underneath and had some fresh oil on my finger. I steered it over to the shoulder right away so not sure how it could have blown anything.

Thanks. Have only had it on town roads and highway. Haven't hit any hard bumps, potholes and have driven it normal, no off road. Hopefully the dealer will call tomorrow after they look at it.

Not sure. Half the belt was back a ways on the shoulder with a good trail of fluid behind me. Smoke pouring out from under the hood. I pulled it off the road pretty much immediately when the engine light and temp warning came on.

My serpentine belt on my 2023 Rubicon 3.6, XTreme Recon snapped at 4,200 miles while traveling on vacation. Not happy to say the least. Coolant and oil all over the highway.. Luckily there was a Jeep dealer off the highway it could be towed to. Had to leave it there, rent a car and keep going...

Same here. Arrival updated to 11/11 on the jeeptracker site, but shows TBD on the jeep.com tracker. Hope the jeeptracker is the correct one.

How cool of them. Let's keep raising prices, increase the finance rate to 6.49 (thanks to the Fed) and subsequent lease money factors ..and take away the $500 incentive for Nov. What a big F U to Jeep buyers.

I was told Xtreme Recon package, rock sliders, hardtop headliner, door sill guards etc cannot be ordered currently for new orders. Has anyone else heard this?

Also, I didn't know the forum discount had to be requested at the time the order was placed. Initially I had only mentioned the 1% fca discount at the time I ordered it, and was told I now needed to cancel my current order and start again with a new order if I want the forum discount.
