I can't believe this is even legal to only pay a technician 1/2 hour for a 9 hour job. I like to wrench myself, but appreciate those who do this for a living. I can even understand some of the higher prices for oil changes and stuff, but recalls should certainly be paid accordingly.
Sorry to...
it has been quite cold and my wife doesn’t drive far. Today I drove it in 45 degree temps and it went into electric for quite a while. It seems to be operating better since I drove it for some distance.
My 2022 4xE has been in FORM for about a month. Recently had its service and most likely it is trying to burn through stale gas. I have filled it up a few times, but the wife uses it for short trips.
The good news is the electric option still works and kicks in when you need the power so no loss...
I purchased and installed the Redline Tuning hood shocks. This should be standard on these vehicles. Has quick disconnect if you need to lift and rest on the winshield.
2022 Sahara 4xe, 5500 miles, no mechanical issues whatsoever. Did have the recall update done and haven't experienced anything "bad". It is also bone stock except for some interior storage mods. It has been a great vehicle thus far and half our miles have been electric.
I love the 4xe for what it is and how I use it. My commute to work (mostly highway) will result in about 40% of battery left after one way. I rarely fill up as I only use a bit of gas and recharge at home on the 220V.
It takes some getting used to planning trips and using those 24-26 miles...
I have the 22 Sahara 4xE and I haven't had any steering issues. I now have it in Germany and drive highway alot. Maybe I got a good once. The Level II is absolutely a must. It took 14hrs on the 110v Lvl I when I had it in the US. My current 16amp takes about 4. I love my 4xe and it has met all...
No I haven't seen that. I registered the vehicle with the US military over here so US spec cars are fine. I believe the differences is the side marker (covers or bulbs) and potentially the glass. I am really not certain about that. This biggest stickler for US/EURO registrations has always been...
I have not since I plan on taking it back after this tour. If I were staying here or wanted to sell to a Euro person, definately and option. I have never tried charging at a Tesla station as I don't have that adapter and I watched a bunch of YouTube videos where people couldn't get it to work...
I bought a US Spec 4xe in Texas and moved to Germany for work. I bought a 22v charger and adapter as others have said off German Amazon. I think between the adapter and power cable combo it was 600euro. I charge from home and I can charge at local charging stations with my adapter.
It is 220v...
I bought my 4xe in Texas and ensured I had the CW package. I've spent my life all around the globe and when you find yourself in cold climates the heated steering wheel and seats are a must. Currently brought the 4xe to Germany where I'm enjoying the package. Never used the remote start which is...
Great responses across the board. I have a bone stock Sahara 4xe and plan on keeping it that way until I need to upgrade wheels & tires. Any wrangler with bigger wheels and a modest lift looks awesome IMO; I'm just not ready to do this.
I had Harley's in the past and spent a lot of money to...
I believe your questions have been answered, but one thing I want to address is the turbo issue. I began with Turbo cars in 2006 (BMW 330I) and followed that with nearly every vehicle I have owned since then (except for a 2021 Mitsubishi) has had a turbo of some sort. Never had an issue with any...
