Was running KO2's on my work truck and averaged 15-16 thousand miles a set and pretty much just lived with buying two to three sets a year. This is a rough old West Texas ranch that eats up tires. My new truck I had them put the Ridge Grapplers on at the dealer. Fixing to order another set after...
One thing you have to remember is these tires are not made for just Jeeps, they're going on full size trucks that can be much heavier up to 7000 to 7500 lbs. With a JLU weighing in at up to 4500 lbs. The Nitto's I just put on had a factory recommendation of 60 PSI, dropped them to 35 and have a...
Just put the Nitto trail grapplers on mine, 285/75/17, they're just under 34inch OD on my stock Willys rims. I've had absolutely zero rubbing, but I did have to get a extension for the spare tire mount. Tire hit the bumper on the stock mount.
Well I've had it about a year now and only 3 mods, Antenna 20.00, tire mount extension 63.00 and LED Bulbs 86.00. I don't really consider tires being a mod but they run me just over 2,000.
I don't know about a Jeep, but my last 3 GMC's all had that problem, the vent gets clogged. My trucks spent all their time running down dirt roads and ranch roads. They had the flipper style gas inserts and they would also catch dust and dump it in the tank, clogging the low pressure fuel pump...
I know I said I wasn't I wasn't going to put any mods on my Jeep but since i swapped out the antenna I already made a liar out of myself. My tire mount adapter from Quadratech came in yesterday. Put some Nitto Ridge grappler 285/75/17's on it and the spare is to big for the stock mount. They...
6500 miles with 80% of it running dirt and ranch roads, haven't had a single problem. Averaging around 18 mpg, on highway runs it averages around 20+ mpg. Stock tires are doing well and see no need to replace. Still amazed at how much quieter it is than past jeeps. My biggest surprise was how...
So I get a letter from Jeep reminding me to activate the service contract. What's interesting is they have my vehicle listed as a High Tide and the serial numbers match. To add to this I had another new Willys park beside me the other day and the clearance between the tire and fender looked...
Dang you! Good thing is others on here have already solved that for me. Now I have to place another order, maybe two those black hinge protectors caught my eye. Already caught 3 chips on the rear driver side lower hinge.
Now that's interesting. Fixing to replace my GMC truck with a Gladiator Willys Sport. This truck will see 90 thousand miles in 36 months. An extra 2500 to extend it's warranty out to 90,000 isn't a bad price. I'd still come in well under the GMC price for a new Z-71 equivalent. About 15-18...
I'm just a cloud of dust going down the road. These roads out here are mostly caliche and it coats everything a off white color. I'm in an out of the truck a lot and the cabins gets full of dust. We keep them cabin filters swapped out, they shut down AC performance pretty fast. We love our AC...
Told you I wouldn't mod the Jeep for appearance purposes. The only piece of chrome on the vehicle, who's idea was that? I've got a black one coming in. Is this how it start's?
