you were right. I took it back and waited on a JLUW. Much to my surprise this one drives like a car. Night and day difference and not because on is 2 door and the other 4.
To be honest, dings and scratches drive me crazy especially in black vehicles. However, in a Jeep every scratch has a story. I mean, I rather not get one but if it does I'm totally fine with it. It's kinda how they look better with some mud sprayed all over the sides. I see really nice...
Awesome. It's now hands off totally straight even with road imperfectio
Big difference and it could use a little more, but I'm happy. When I bend one LCA or the bushing wears out, I'll go with adjustable to experiment a bit more.
IMO, the 4 doors need to be lifted and bigger tires. It just looks like a truck with small tires. Either way they are badass, but a lift makes it more badass.
I'm glad mine didn't have nav. Stopped using long time ago when I discovered Waze. Now I just plug in phone and carplay takes care of the rest. And with Waze you don't have to have a destination to alert you on speed traps, etc.
I also love my Jeep, but to be honest, I wish it would drive like a truck. Off the lot, it drove like a Pinto with bad ball joints. Very disappointed especially coming from a 14 JKUR. It drives pretty good after working on it, but it still isn't 100%. I don't know if the Italians dropped the...
As others mentioned, get the .25 longer LCAs from the mopar lift. you'll need a beefy impact wrench to remove the bolts. I've yet measured the caster, but now it drives totally straight. Only problem left is about 1/2" steering play.
There is a lot of information on this issue. In my case, brand new Willys 2 door, if you saw me driving down the road you’d swear I was drunk. The steering had a huge gap side to side or dead spot. The fix for that was to adjust the gear box backlash. That with 32 psi fixed 98% of it. It still...
I totally regret selling my XJ. Bought it from an old lady in FL that used it to go get groceries. It was red and manual tranny. Thing was like brand new. Had 35k miles on it. That i6 4.0 was bullet proof. Only problem with those was the leaky fuel check valve. You had to turn key on for...
For the Willys
1. Paint the chrome antenna black
2. Remove the stupid 4 Wheel Drive decal
3. Black covers for the outside door locks (only chrome left is wheel lugs)
4. Adjust the Steering Box
5. Hang dog tags on rearview mirror
I’m beginning to understand that 1/4-1/2 is normal for a JL. Not normal in other models since I’ve had a JK without play and many other vehicles without rack and pinion that were tight. I think what it comes down to is that somewhere someone screwed up when they came out with the JL design. Then...

Wow. Let’s hope they get it together on this steering issue. There is nothing else like a wrangler. Italian brands tend to be focus on aesthetics. I do like the side faux vent and the dash is nicer. However, if trade it all for the steering to be how it’s supposed to be. Like I said before, I am...
