  1. Prices just keep climbing.....

Well you said most so that’s fair. I usually finance most things a bit further out because of previous lean periods in my field but I usually double or triple payments by year two or three and knock it out.
  2. Winch question regarding torque

I have a couple questions regarding mounting a winch. I had bought the QRC full width winch ready bumper plus the Quadratec stealth winch. it says to torque the bolts to 50ft lbs on each bolt. The two easy to reach ones I did get the click for the 50ft lbs. however the other two are incredibly...
  3. Official Denver Area Group

I’m located in Denver, and have weekdays off if anyone is interested in wheeling at some point. I’m newer to it though.
  4. Are frames pretty square?

Fair enough. The quality definitely left a bit to be desired.. one weld looked absolutely terrible.
  5. Rotopax storage question

Sweet bout of you guys make great points! I always try and be cautious but I’m all reality an empty can is just that empty haha. I’m just excited to actually have a Jeep and get stuff for it.
  6. Rotopax storage question

So I’m wondering how you guys store your rotopax when not in use. I won’t store it in the garage due to my furnance being in the same space. I’ve read people can store empty gas cans outside but just curious with a limited space suburb lot what the best option is.
  7. Are frames pretty square?

Cool that’s what I had figured being in the trades just wanted clarification. I imagine welding all the different parts is never going to come out perfect.
  8. Are frames pretty square?

So I bought a Quadratec QRC full width bumper. Upon trying to install it I think the bumper itself wasn’t built exactly square. Because Everytime I would get it pretty well and seated one side from the grill would have inch gap on drivers side and maybe half an inch or less on passenger side...
  9. Top of the World in a mostly stock JL Rubicon

Do you think a 2022 two door willys could do this trail? Ive been dreaming of Moab since moving to Colorado in 2018.
  10. Door sill scratches question

Thanks for all the advice! I ordered a set of sill guards and will be buying some 3M stuff that was mentioned. I think I may have the modding Jeep addiction now but I’m not sure.. I spent a lot of money today. Lol
  11. Break in period question

That’s a lot of driving! The most I’ve done working is like 2k miles a month which I can’t say I enjoyed.
  12. Door sill scratches question

So I bought this jeep like two weeks ago and the sills that round to the bottom of door area is scratch a good bit on the passenger side since my lady is 5ft 2, and the driver has some scratches yet I don’t believe I’m contacting the paint. so firstly I just want opinions if it worth correcting...

  15. 22 wrangler order date, vin and actual deliveries.

damn! Which model did you order? I wonder if my lack of electronics saved time. I have crank windows and bare minimum. I didn’t order any safety groups or nicer stereos. Granted the automatic added the 7 inch screen.
  16. 22 wrangler order date, vin and actual deliveries.

I figure I would update you guys on how quickly I got my two door willys sport. I ordered at autonation in golden colorado, I think April 12th, finished the build about May 7th, and took delivery May 30th. They estimated 4-6 months. Maybe the simplicity helped out I dunno but I got it super fast.
  17. Break in period question

That makes a ton of sense. I don't feel too bad then, since most of the driving was pretty diverse and mainly not with cruise control. I even got full colorado weather everything from rain, snow, and warmth. lol I now see why so many people love jeeps!
  18. Break in period question

I appreciate the words of advice! Yeah I used cruise control up and down a 12-13k foot mountain so I feel like it definetly had to shift. It's just such an awesome vehicle that I'm just being overly paranoid. I plan to keep it a long time so just doing what I can to preserve it.
  19. Break in period question

So I’ve never owned a new vehicle before and ended up custom ordering a two door 2022 wrangler willys sport. I honestly was having so much fun with my wife driving it all over the Rocky Mountains I didn’t even consider a break in period. I’m probably overthinking things here but was the...
  20. Break-in period, who follows it?

I bought my jl on Tuesday evening, drove Highway back home at like 60-65, then yesterday I drove 340 miles before realizing any sort of break in periods. Most of my driving was 45-65 mph with a 50/50 mix of cruise control. I also did about two hours of moderate trails.
