Maybe the high prices now might have something to do with it. I just priced a 2023 Rubicon 4XE with the same features I have on my 2022 392 and it came out to $73,000. I only paid $78,000 for my 392.
Well, they are still working on Fifty Shades of Grey. So I am guessing another variation of grey?
Read where several have ordered Punk'n 2023's already. Good luck with the configurator. By the time they update it, the updates have updated.
Several people have just ordered 392s in this color. Safety packages are standard equipment on 392s, not an option. And there will be some who will change their already ordered XR to Punk'n just like some did for the Gobi color.
They usually do with some of the limited edition colors. Unfortunately, they discontinued the model (April 29) for 2022 392s but the Gobi color end date was June 30.
The first month I had my new vehicle I never got flashed until I got pulled over by the police. I never turned the lights to automatic and was using my daytime running lights. Now I get flashed.
I see a lot around me but definitely more on weekends (Jeep clubs?). I get maybe 30% waves but thinking since I have the 392 it resembled a Gladiator Mohave hood so they don't even realize I'm a wrangler till they've passed me.
From what I've seen (correct me if I'm wrong) Stellantis can only makes so many 392's (around 6500 - overall fleet mpg?). So if they made say $10k profit on a stripped down version vs $30K on a fully loaded one, and knowing they will sell out (look at the 2022 392 April cutoff) then why would...
Agree with JEEP4U. If you can wait a year or so you might have a choice of the I-6 Hurricane or a souped-up 2.0 twin turbo, though the way Jeep works they might only be available on the top-of-the-line model like the 392.
I rented one last year - $300/day - regular JL Sport not 4xe. They come with a sticker so you can drive on the beaches of Chappaquiddick and Norton Point.
