  1. AccuAir Off-Road | JL Wrangler Forums Intro

What about the drag link and a centered steering wheel? Seems that your steering wheel will NEVER be centered with this type of setup.
  2. Will older JL models be able to upgrade to 12.3 screens?

some initial validation would be fairly straightforward. Im not concerned about buying dash parts (up to and including the entire dashboard). The big question will be the wiring harness. If the female recepticles on the new 12.3" screen are the same as the current 8" screen then there is hope...
  3. Can we talk about the 2024 392 red seats?

MY 2025 is unlikely to have a 392. Rumors are discontinuation of the platform.
  4. Texas Nearly New EVO mfg Rear Facia

    Sorry sold
  5. Deals will be coming back soon...

People. If you think the demand for Jeeps is driven by the enthusiasm of the enthusiast demographic m in this forum you’re mistaken. What I’m hearing is buyers who overpaid and are hoping for sustained high values. You don’t need every “jeep buyer” to drop our because of fuel prices to cause a...
  6. wow this is cool, new aftermarket dash

Why do the backup lines for every car in my garage always work? Maybe we should tell apple, Samsung, google to make smartphones less dependent on screens for reliability. Apple only made 233 million devices in 2021 alone. If the failure rate and reliability of those quarter billion devices was...
  7. wow this is cool, new aftermarket dash

you might want to practice some caution before you assume those who lack your misplaced apprehensions about newer electronics are not well-earned. In fact these digital instrument clusters and infotainment systems aren’t even that “new” Land Rover has had them for 2 generations of vehicles...
  8. What is an unpopular opinion you have in the Jeep community?

Saying “load is load” is a meaningless platitude. How EV’s and ICE vehicles respond to load are seemingly drastically different. These two propulsion types have drastically different efficiencies. I own arguably a “top of the food chain” EV and have witnessed as much just with some additions...
  9. What is an unpopular opinion you have in the Jeep community?

I’m not convinced we are nearing usable EV’s for true off-roading jeeps. Especially modded ones. I’m a hard core “car guy” and “gearhead” love mechanical cars and the roar of a traditional V8, flat plane v8 or even v12. As cars have gone electric, my toys and wants have started to lean more...
  10. wow this is cool, new aftermarket dash

I find the narrow minded views on a more tehncially sophisticated Jeep from some in this group to strange compared with other automotive groups. I’m nearly every other group, more tech (short of electrification) is something that’s welcomed. Sure I can see the beauty of a carbureted car without...
  11. JLUR big build.

    Added a finishing touch tonight.
  12. JLUR big build.

A few reasons for the Rubicon. Like others have said, I just wanted some of the options. I wanted the leather seats and contrast stitching. I wanted the transfer case, the painted hard top, bigger screen, etc. I wanted something nice when I got in it for when I’m not on the trail. you get a...
  13. JLUR big build.

I dont think it’s a bad idea to go with the 43” Maxis tire and 17” wheel setup. Longer term there is a better tire selection. 42” Trail grapplers are unobtanium right now. Like I said in the post above, power isn’t bad. It’s not fast by any means but it’s not unbearable. Gas mileage is 12.5ish.
  14. JLUR big build.

Well it’s been a few weeks since I live updated this thread. Since the last build, I added Artec skids, rock hard sport cage, ARB dual compressor for thr Evo no limits sway bar disconnect, rockslide engineering sliders (still waiting for the armor that goes over them), genright bumpers and...
  15. JLUR big build.

Some more progress this week. Long Arm brackets burned on: axles installed: and it’s on the ground a lot more to come….
  16. JLUR big build.

The build hit some minor snags while waiting for parts. The Dynatrac pro rock 60 I for the front was used and came off of another build. Ended up needing a new passenger side upper corntrol arm bracket. Also needed the long arm brackets. Everything came in today. Some fairly good progress while...
