I combed through audio section and briefly through battery section and couldn’t find an answer, but maybe this is posted elsewhere.
How powerful of an amplifier can the wrangler battery handle? I did just replace my battery and have been running a class D 700 watt amp with zero issues. I’m...
Here is a good article on the process.

The installer did it for me. The article lists six items; it’s actually only four because two of the items are reusable. It looks completely the same, no indication the...
I have a xd700/5v2 powering everything but will use a VX600/2i to power the subs once I get the second one.
I’m not sure what you have in your Jeep now but if I could do it again I would get a DSP built in amp and maybe one powerful 12, because you’ll need two stealthboxes to get some thicker...
@JasonInDLH I put in Focal flax components in the front, Focal flax coaxial in the sound bar. I have JL audio stealthbox on the driver side and want to add one another now to the passenger side. I thought the Alpine was pretty solid just wanted a little more power.
Hi All-
I went in a different direction for speakers and am selling these. All worked great upon removal. Asking for $125 , which is how much I paid the guy to put in the replacement trim paneling, plus shipment. Let me know if you have questions and shoot me a PM if interested.
Thank you
I have stealthbox on driver side and new 80 rms speakers, the alpine sub blended relatively well with the other equipment but the encasing gave out not being able to handle the sensitivity differences. I would have some concern about that being a reliable box for a more powerful sub.
I'm trying to remove the Alpine sub because it is rattling; I want to put regular trim to replace and mount a JL Stealthbox in its place. The dealership said that they would not disconnect and do this for me because it affects blindspot monitoring and thus the warranty. I do not trust what they...
@fullytorqued i have a XD 700 watt 5 channel and two passive crossovers , I’m also going to add a XD 500 watt 3 channel with a DSP. I can snap a pic later. Two different shops looked at it and said this is fine. Been running it a month or so now.
Ok thanks. I briefly poked my head under there and it appears the power line to the amp cuts behind there so I think, like you, I’d have to remove the whole module because there is little space .
Apparently I wasn’t the only one. “Charlie Brown sound”

Is the function of the SGW to run computer diagnostics on vehicle repairs? If so wouldn’t that nullify the dealership warranty? I think you are right and that may be what the issue is.
Awesome. I’m going to take a detailed look at this after work, and follow up with you. It’s frustrating , want to it sound as well as it can and this periodic _______ sounds….
@Terpsmandan that is a good theory and makes sense. Is that something that is correctable ? Where is this thing located? The sounds seems to be generated from the left side of the knee panel (window side) Thanks Terp
I had Alpine premium which I thought was pretty good but decided to upgrade. On the driver side knee panel prior to upgrade there was a dull resonance at certain low midrange frequencies which I originally thought was a blown speaker. The OME speaker was replaced by warranty but audio resonance...
