Thinking about making a trek to the same area in May. We are Kentuckians also. Will be our first JEEP trip as far as off-roading. Looking to stay in Ouray a few days to get some trails in, and then maybe going to either Moab or the Grand Canyon.

Hopefully reviving this post. Curious as to what everyone has done to upgrade the factory Alpine sub. Love mine when the top is up and rear windows on, but hate the way the bass falls off when the top is down. Would prefer to keep the factory enclosure, and will eventually be replacing all speakers.

Just noticed some bubbles/oxidation on mine last week. Bottom edge of hood about 4 inches behind the latch. Going in for oil changer tomorrow, and they are supposed look at it and start a warranty claim. I’m a year and 4 months in on my ’22 JLUR.

Yes. Stayed with 17’s. Tried to add as little weight as possible.

The offset on mine is -18. Puts the outer blocks of tread just past the factory flares. I love my 35’s but do wish they were 37’s. Only reason I didn’t go larger was my drive to work. 37’s would have killed my MPG w/o re-gearing. Hope to re-gear later this year so I can go larger with my next...

Open Road 13k winch installed last week. Probably a lot more than I‘ll need, but better more than not enough.

Just installed my FabFours stubby. Found it on sale though Morris4x4 for under $400 bare metal. 2 coats of roll on Herculiner that I let cure for almost 2 weeks, and couldn’t be happier. Just waiting on the winch to arrive.

Bumper on, and winch on the way! Ended up ordering an Open Road Panther 2 winch in the custom red color (Early Black Friday Sale). Should be here mid-week. Love the difference the bumper alone made. Should definitely be ready for the adventures I have planned. Plenty of trails around the state...

I believe the shipping info said 102lbs. it’s definitely a brute, but should hold up To some abuse.

Bumper is coated and curing. Awfully hard to no go ahead and throw it on, but leaving out for a cruise at the end of the week. By the time I return the Herculiner should be 💯….. Next is deciding on the winch……

Pleasant surprise call yesterday to inform me of my bumper arriving a few days early. One of the few times FedEx has impressed me. On to coat and mount. Also added some Quadratec Pods that I found on sale for under $20. The VOSwitch system makes installs incredibly easy and quick.

I hear you on the cost. I caught them during the summer sale a couple months ago. Haven’t had them on anything I’d consider washboard, unless you count the wonderful streets and highways in KY. However, they do soak up those bumps very well.
